I wonder if they are going to abandon this product. the monthly cost just to maintain those tens of thousands of numbers is not cheap. The cost of transporting tens of thousands of calls a month costs $$ as well. I think they cut off new signups about the same time. If i recall correctly the Google VP of North America said that there are around 50,000 applications in development within Google at the moment, all at various stages. Google has so many products that it will take years to link them, look at doubleclick that is still upto 18 months away with Adwords/Analytics. I dont mind if products stay in beta, but private beta is no fun because you cant play with their toys. I guess the big advantage with this software would be to people working in more than one country and call easily check their voicemail, gmail & analytics data at the same time within the same login.
